Look after our customers in the Gulf of Mexico

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be providing a vital service by implementing, monitoring, and evaluating chemical treating systems. You will take ownership of sites and ensure they have the service needed to operate in a safe and compliant manner. You will be supporting our customers' needs across the Gulf of Mexico.

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing support to our customers for our product segments, technical selling and key field product applications
  • Investigating unusual or unsatisfactory product performance to determine root cause and preventative action
  • Diagnosing production system issues and supporting customer through to successful resolution
  • Visiting customers with sales and engineering representatives to deliver technical presentations
  • Leading and conducting new business field surveys, associated product qualification analyses and new program transitions
  • Troubleshooting production issues and providing technical support for facility and flow diagnostics


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have Bachelor's degree in a related field and or a high school diploma with 3 years of oilfield experience
  • Be a motivated self-starter, proactively taking initiative to lead and solve problems with technical and analytical skills
  • Demonstrate an aptitude for building and maintaining trusted relationships with customers
  • Have a solid awareness of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance and potential risks
  • Have the ability to develop and mentor small technical teams
  • Have excellent verbal and written skills required for report creation for customers and internal teams
  • Be willing to work in an variety of environments, including off-shore facilities on a rotational schedule
  • Be available for on call outside of normal business hours

  • This role is working with our customer's off-shore in locations across the Gulf of Mexico. When onsite, you will have the flexibility to work in line with customer working patterns. When projects or schedules are complete
  • This role has a offshore rotational shift pattern. Please talk to us about the specific working patterns
