Our client, a large oil and gas company, is currently seeking a Senior SCADA Analyst for a 6-month contract in Calgary, AB.

Description:

 

Core Responsibilities:

 

  • Provides technical support and services to the business in all aspects of maintaining pipeline and equipment integrity, Scada and other areas that support that.
  • Provide services to management such as analyzing the structure, operations, managerial methods or functions of an organization in order to propose, plan and implement improvements by forecasting, trending and conducting business analysis of business process and models.
  • Provides support to the compliance activities of the EAR Field Scada team regarding NERC certifications.
 

Decision Making:

  • Involved in highly complex matters and business processes that have impact for the organization and involve Senior Management strategic decisions.
  • May oversee a variety of projects at a time.
 

Duties:

  • Recommending changes to current process/templates to meet the Department's needs.
  • Present executive reports for E&AR managers and directors, including key insights identified from trending analysis for the SCADA & Mechanical Engineering organization unit.
  • Can be tasked to identify long term opportunities that might be used in the future for all E&AR, Develop and deliver scorecards for both Field SCADA and DSS & Leak Detection departments.
  • Evaluate existing and/or new internal processes
  • Requires Excel and EDMS, SCADA system experience.
  • Can be tasked to manage junior resources.
