Seeking Chemical Engineer with 2+ years experience in a Lab setting
Perform testing in a laboratory setting including sample preparation and testing of deposit and chemical samples to support customer requests. Analyze data and communicate results to project managers. Expected to resolve problems through the application of acquired expertise. Perform laboratory analysis, interpret data, provide written reports, and perform instrument troubleshooting as needed. Works together with customers from the business unit and communicates with direct team and supervisor. Presents to internal teams on metrics, project status and research, and provides technical support and service.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering from an accredited university or college. At least 2+ years laboratory experience including proficiency in XRF, XRD, CHN, TGA, and FTIR analysis. Strong time management skills will be required.
Desired Characteristics: Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to work independently. Strong problem solving skills. Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing project requirements is a plus.
