Looking for a career opportunity? Come join Wood as an Engineering Technician in Kenedy, TX. The Engineering Tech will be responsible for providing daily Pipeline Integrity Support as indicated below.

Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required.

  • AUT scans - support with any field verification needed
  • Support development of repair plans - participate in planning meetings
  • PODS - Enter Leak/Repairs into
  • Support pipeline operating changes with any records review or field verification needed
  • Support new development requests regarding pipeline integrity with any records review or field verification needed
  • Annual Class Location Review - support with any records review or field verification needed
  • Pipeline Audits - support with any records review or field verification needed
  • PSV/relief valve testing - support with any records review or field verification needed and scheduling contractor for testing
  • Location Survey and PSV Capacity Review - support with any records review or field verification needed
  • Project to install PSV's for newly regulated lines - support with any records review or field verification needed
  • Scan hydro-tests and upload to PODS
  • Pigging plan support with any records review or field verification needed
  • Review pig trap measurements - support with any records review or field verification needed
  • Modify pig traps- support with any records review or field verification needed
  • Low point/validation digs & scans - support with any field verification needed
  • Update working copy of pipe tally with dig data
  • Load inspection data into PODS
  • Pipeline Integrity Support
  • Support review of survey and test data from Corrpro for atmospheric corrosion, Close Interval Surveys (CIS), Annual survey - test station, rectifier inspections, CP system capacities, anode bed ampacities


Skills / Qualifications

  • 5 + Years of experience:
  • Proficient working knowledge of GIS/SAP/Enterprise is required.
  • Proficient working knowledge of Visions is preferred.
  • Local candidates only. Housing will not be provided and is not billable back to the client.
