Our client, a large oil and gas company, is currently seeking a Senior Organizational Change Manger for a 1-year contract in Calgary, AB.

 

Description:

 

The Sr Change Practitioner will work directly with the Sponsor and their team to provide strategic change solutions along with coaching support, advice and guidance on how to successfully plan and implement transformational change initiatives.


The focus of the Sr Change Practitioner will be to execute on delivering the right change solutions while building change capability by:
1. Developing a change strategy and detailed plan to deliver a new EHSM platform, utilizing and implementing change methodology and tools


2. Implementing the Change Management Plan:
• Stakeholder Identification and Impact assessment
• Defining and assessing risks, mitigations and impacts of the change from current to future state
• Business readiness assessment
• Help define measures for success
• Training need assessment and development of training plan
• Develop & execute communications and engagement plan, creation of communications related to program implementation
• Determining and supporting change solutions to move to full sustainment
• Partnering with key change partners - communications and learning & capability - to deliver integrated solutions

3. Advising from a change management perspective:
• Providing direction on how to effectively lead a transformational change
• Providing guidance and support on how to align and engage leaders (e.g. Sponsors, Executive where required, Steering Committees, Change Agents, Teams, etc.), required to champion the change and sustain the process ongoing
• Providing guidance and support on engaging people, getting them involved in the change and obtaining buy-in on the change initiative
• Providing guidance on how to support staff through the change process.
• Providing advice about how best to set up a change initiative so that it has a better chance of success while avoiding common pitfalls
• Monitoring the change progress, assessing impacts and readiness and highlighting where corrective action is needed and advising on how to move forward
