North American Sales Manager

REMOTE

Our client, a quickly rising and already industry-leading developer of autonomous technology for maritime applications, is looking to add to their sales team. Their products are in high demand and directed toward a relatively untapped market. Their products and solutions allow vessels to operate autonomously and remotely while enabling owners and operators to run their fleets with maximum control, performance, and safety. Their collaborative and dynamic culture is focused on optimal execution and customer satisfaction.

The role:

The sales manager will sell to builders, dealers, and operators by prospecting, leading sales meetings, creating and developing relationships, closing sales and generating revenue. The sales manager will collaborate with team members in other departments and with third-party contractors. The role reports to the CCO.

Duties:

· Identify and prospect to customers, deliver persuasive presentations, oversee product demos, and create proposals

· Build and develop strong client relationships and function as the primary point of contact

· Resolver client issues and deliver post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction

· Develop quarterly sales forecasts and customer targets.

· Participate in overall business development strategy planning and be an outstanding representative for the company

· Update the weekly status of the sales pipeline engagements and milestones

· Attend tradeshows and events

REQUIREMENTS

· 5+ years of sales experience with 3 or more years in maritime technology (bridge or automation) sales with a proven track record of meeting and/or exceeding sales quota

· Strong understanding of the complex process and a good negotiator

· Experience in sales of innovative commercial technology products, ideally in the maritime space (bridge systems or automation)

· Good technical understanding and strong communication skills

· Bachelor's degree in business or a technology discipline is preferred

· Familiar with current CRMs

· Willingness to travel 50% of the time

· Position can be based anywhere in US, ideally along the Gulf Coast, and will be 100% remote until travel restrictions are lifted
