Wood is currently recruiting a Proposals Coordinator to join our Growth & Development team who are based centrally in Perth CBD. This position supports the strategic planning, business development and knowledge management services across the region and our ideal candidate will thrive in a multi-faceted role and illustrate adaptability to the evolving demands of the wider team and our expanding client base.
Key aspects of the role will include curating content for the business, supporting the delivery of data analysis and executive reporting. Several aspects of the role will require collaboration with stakeholders across our inclusive and diverse global team. You will seamlessly build strong relationships and be champion working collaboratively, prioritising and supporting a variety of work scopes as necessary.
Proposals, Business Development & Strategic Win Planning
Providing analytical support in this role you will undertake data interrogation and analysis, assisting in the compilation of business performance dashboards and generating sales reports from our business development and management systems. You will support the team with data mining, industry research, along with development of sales / business and strategic growth strategies, working collaboratively with other members of the Growth & Development team.
Additionally you will coordinate and support marketing activities, liaise with service providers for marketing materials, presentations, corporate materials and social media activity coordinating the transition from sales to operations post contract award.
Client Relationship Management, Governance and Reporting
This element of the role requires a pro-active approach to data integrity, governance and compliance, ensuring activities are in line with corporate governance and established approval processes. You will manage and drive the capture of sales pipeline data and contribute to sales reporting ensuring the business is fully supported and informed. Using your strong inter-personal skills, you will liaise with regional sales team leads across the business working to ensure a consistent global voice and approach to client and opportunity management.

Skills / Qualifications

- Ideally a Bachelors degree or extensive experience in a similar role
- Experience with proposals work-flow in addition to operational, commercial and sales procedures
- Familiar with the Microsoft suite of programs with experience in Microsoft CRM or other sales database
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form
- Demonstrated capability to effectively plan, prioritise, execute, and deal with competing priorities and follow up to meet deadlines
- Excellent organisational skills and a strong eye for detail
- Effectively develop and foster strong working partnerships both locally and remotely across our global business
- Ability to work on multiple bids simultaneously while maintaining focus and clarity of purpose
- Adept at interrogating and analysing large data sets and presenting data logically
- Experience of tendering in a business environment and / or development of marketing collateral
