  • Support development of E&S assessment and permitting processes for offshore wind opportunities and associated templates
  • Lead on E&S assessment processes and early permitting for offshore wind opportunities and provide E&S assessment technical advice and support to other projects and to operated businesses, including:
    • Specialist studies in E&S risk assessment
    • E&S issues and mitigation of potential E&S risks
    • Project and business E&S aspects, impacts, risks & opportunity  registers
    • Support sharing of good practice, knowledge, learnings and implementation of corrective actions leading to continuous improvement
  • Develop processes, standards and guidance in E&S assessment and risk identification and management and supports their consistent implementation in the line
  • Support driving the E&S agenda and elements across the Group and businesses
  • Develop capability for E&S assessment through participating in relevant internal networks and preparing and delivering training
  • Expertise in Environmental and Social Assessment and early permitting
  • Expertise in offshore wind developments
  • Broad experience across general E&S topics
  • Ability to work with SMEs to translate technical knowledge into pragmatic advice and support
  • Strong communication skills with ability to influence
  • Uses a range of styles to influence and gain enrollment in a variety of situations
  • One team, agile and adaptable mindset
  • Excellent and demonstrable interpersonal, communication (oral and written), leadership and team-working skills.
