Presenting to the market an exciting and challenging role with a client of Leap29 who are looking to bring a Flexible Package Engineer into their growing team.
The successful contractor will be rewarded with an initial 6 month contract, potential for extension, attractive day rate and a highly enjoyable project team to be a part of.
Based in Stavanger, the client is a leading EPCI contractor with a full order backlog and high tender activity, and a great record of contractor retention.

-Be familiarized with relevant standards for Unbonded Flexible Pipelines
-Be the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Flexible Interface Queries with the PIMS system and manage these Interfaces both internally but also externally to other stakeholders.
-External interfaces include SPS supplier, FPSO refurbishment contractor, FPSO Turret refurbishment contractor and Umbilical supplier. Interfaces, email and meetings should be arranged managed in order to meet engineering deadlines and mitigate any potential risks.
-Identify and close Interfaces in a timely manner. If these interfaces have commercial impact raise towards EPC Lead and SCM specialist and contribute for the technical input.
-Interface internally with Installation, mobilisation, detailed design, analysis, pre-commissioning and commercial departments to meet engineering, manufacturing and loadout deadlines.
-Be familiar with manufacturing schedule and status.
-Review subcontractors' documentation with respect to client's criteria and specifications as well as international codes and specification.
-Participate in project meetings as required.
-Witness crucial fabrication stages and tests; where relevant
-Give input to and update the Project Risk and Opportunity Register as risks are identified
-Deliver all work in line with the quality systems within BMS (e.g. design change control, management of change onshore and offshore, document revision history, etc).
-Provide technical support and guidance to other team members where relevant
Qualifications / requirements
-Relevant experience of 5-10+ years
-Bachelors / Masters qualified
-Fluent English, (Norwegian beneficial but not essential)
