Role Summary/Purpose:
Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for developing and driving proactive global sourcing strategies for all assigned commodities, across multiple sites, in order to achieve all fulfilment, quality, productivity, cost out, cash and inventory commitments to the business.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and execution of the global commodity strategy, including new supplier agreements and optimization of existing agreements.
• Own supplier negotiations and ensure contacts are effective and structured to achieve desired outcomes/ results.
o Vendor managed inventory (VMI), Consignment, Socking Programs and Min Order Quantity Strategy
o Supplier payment term improvements, aligned with business standards and cash goals
o Overall Cost & Lead Time Reductions
• Collaborate with cross-functional team, including Engineering, Product Line, Quality, Materials, and Supply Chain, to maximize impact and supplier utilization.
• Drive increased supplier accountability for OTD and Quality performance, as well as productivity
• Develop alternate sources and/or risk mitigation plans for single & sole source suppliers
• Support business in supplier selection, development, and management of relationship
• Vendor Add and Management workflows for direct material vendors
• PIR updates for mechanical, hardware, electrical, electronic, EMD commodities
• Review and approve Purchase Orders over 50K in SAP
• Offer requestors guidance how to use the PO request WF for services and the vendor management WF
• Offer requestors guidance on the new vendor onboarding and vendor update process (double check if a vendor is in SAP, is it set up correctly etc.)
• Invoice resolution when AP issues are being escalated
• Terms negotiation: NDA, payment terms and T&Cs/MSA
• Approved Source List (ASL) Update
• Monthly deflation analysis
• Expedites and vendor relationship management for mechanical, hardware, electrical, electronic, EMD commodities
• ITO and NPI support
• Quarterly direct services spend report
