Under broad direction provides skilled level support for the product line(s), technical selling, key field product application, well prognosis, and/or completion product performance. Leads with new product market introductions and field trials. Investigates unusual or unsatisfactory product performance to determine root cause and preventative action. Leads special projects in region or area, as assigned. Conducts all business activities in accordance to Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate activities of offshore laboratory technicians
  • The practical application of scientific research and development in a lab environment
  • Expected to resolve problems through the application of acquired expertise guided by precedent.
  • Works together with people from the business unit.
  • Contacts are under the guidance and/or geared towards specifying activities, planning of activities and giving explanations on technical issues
  • Communicates with direct team and supervisor
  • Presents to internal teams on metrics, project status and research

Required Qualifications
  • Technical or Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Chemical Engineering with 5+ years of Offshore Production Chemical Account Management experience (or High School Diploma with 10+ years of Offshore Production Chemical Account Management experience)
  • Willing to work in offshore environment
  • Experience working with laboratory equipment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software
  • Understanding of lab safety
