As a ERP Project Operations Engineer, you will be responsible to support operation activities, ensuring day-to-day reliability and performance of Oracle business suite, will interact directly with users and peers globally distributed to facilitate issue resolution and close-the-books activities. Also, contribute with ideas and expertise to improve & enhance & evolve Oracle blueprint to support business growth

As a ERP Project Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for:
  • Leading team of Level 2 SME with Design, Analysis, Documentation and Maintenance of Oracle ERP in Project Accounting, Project Costing, Cost Management, Project Contracts & Billing Domains.
  • Developing a deep understanding of our blueprint solution, performing fit/gap analysis & estimating the effort required to meet business objectives for new requirements.
  • Guiding vendors during system design and ensure compliance to specifications and standards
  • Coaching, monitoring & leading contingent staff and DevOps organization in ERP operations to support & develop based on blueprint solution
  • Project Management, tracking task/resource progress v/s the plan & ensuring on time & budget delivery, with high quality of service and timely resolution of production issues
  • Interacting & Co-ordinate between cross functional teams for deploying the designed solutions.
  • Ensuring rigor and adherence to our standards and SOX compliance requirements.
  • Sustenance of product evolution by supporting initiatives on Automated ERP testing, Chat bots, OBIEE reporting, Upstream/downstream integrations.
  • Bringing to fore industry leading practices that have immediate impact on continual improvement initiatives in ERP / Project Accounting space


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:
  • Be a Graduate in Computer Science or "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with at least 4 yrs. of professional experience.
  • Be Hands-on in Oracle ERP Project Accounting & Cost Management Modules
  • Experience in the management of cross-functional operations / initiatives and tough stakeholders
  • Working in global & diverse cultural landscape, we actively encourage diversity in our workforce, and we expect our employee have consistent vision with our core values.
  • Have ability to deep dive on issue resolution and be creative with architectural design
  • Communicate effectively within DT community as well as with external stakeholders
  • Have knowledge on Databases (PL/SQL), Unix commands, Shell script, J2EE (Core Java, advanced JavaScript, JSP)
