Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for a Production Analyst with a fast-proven record of accomplishments to support operations in Decatur, TX. The Systems analysts implement, maintain, and support IT and information systems to meet the business needs of organizations and scale as organizations grow.   • Oversees the Production Accounting processes
  • Work with operations to ensure accuracy of daily reporting
  • Maintain field level allocations of all products
  • Liaise with revenue accounting for monthly settlement
  • Remain compliant with state and federal production requirements
  • Key contributor in special projects such as system upgrades, conversion, acquisitions and/or dispositions
  • Generating and maintaining the monthly production accounting report
  • Act as a liaison for regulatory compliance with BKV s measurement team and coordinate any required updates
  • Assist in internal and external audit queries related to production
  • Coordinate and maintain the integrity of master data standards as related to the production accounting system
  • Assist with reviewing and processing amendments
  • Coordinate and/or deliver training for new processes
  • Generate adhoc reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist with process optimizations and explore opportunities for process improvements and automation initiatives

Skills / Qualifications

  • A minimum of five (5) years of oil and gas accounting and royalty experience
  • P2 Merrick Software experience with exposure to system migration and asset integration
  • Senior-level experience in state & federal reporting with detailed knowledge to ensure regulatory compliance is met
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (filters, pivot tables, lookups etc.) with prior experience leveraging these skills to improve processes and efficiencies, including previous experience working with large datasets
  • Familiarity with database tables would be considered an asset
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize work, and multi-task effectively
  • S trong interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively, confidentially and professionally in a rapidly changing business environment
  • Strong team player with the ability to build relationships and work constructively with others to achieve business goals
  • Solid understanding of, Enertia (or other industry ERP system).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
