R&D Focal Point

Torry Marine Base

A vacancy has arisen for a Focal Point to lead the Peterson Receipt and Despatch function for a large E&P operator. The role will ensure safe working practices, sound operational delivery and leadership of a medium sized team. Responsibilities include ensuring client load list is executed fully, accurate receipt and despatch of materials, resource planning and generally ensuring all service delivery KPI's are met in accordance with contracted scope of work.

To be considered for this position, you should be able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar operational role, including the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams, strong safety principles, understand the material supply chain, be commercially and contractually aware and be a decisive leader. You will be proficient in the use of MS Office and possess excellent presentation and communication skills.

Requirements

  • Performance will be measured against delivery of key tasks and responsibilities, including customer satisfaction, safety performance, team financial and operational performance and service delivery.
  • Sound knowledge and experience of logistics, warehousing and quayside operations.
  • Excellent working knowledge of HSEQ requirements in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Knowledge of legislative requirements and regulations pertaining to cargo operations on and offshore.
