1 Enforces the Company's established safety policies and procedures.
2 Leads by example in his expectations with regards to safety and safety culture.
3 Fosters an environment where intervention and stop work authority is encouraged and supported.
4 Promotes and participates in the observation and recognition program.
5 Assures good housekeeping and a clean workplace during the execution of construction.
6 Audits the JSA process and assures all workers are competent to do the tasks safely.
7 Actively involved in any incident investigation and reporting (as needed by the General Superintendent)
8 Coordinates with General Superintendent for disciplinary actions as needed with regards to safety.
1 Leads by example in his expectations with regards to quality of work.
2 Assists his Deck Foreman, as needed, to audit the worker quality in their respective crews and ensure that proper corrective action is being taken when quality issues arise.
3 Assures that accurate and timely documentation is flowing from crews to QC Leads in accordance with documentation requirements noted in work packs.
4 Coordinates with the General Superintendent for disciplinary actions as needed with regards to quality.
1 Reports to the Project Lead/General Superintendent.
2 Sets expectations for his Deck Foreman, and their crew, a work environment where complacency is not tolerated.
3 Consults with the General Superintendent on disciplinary actions as needed with regards to performance.
4 Assists the Client in the development of Work Packs and associated budgets and sequence of execution
5 Assists the General Superintendent in determining the crew mix and necessary equipment to execute the initial mobe plan and coordinate the readiness of same.
6 Assists the General Superintendent with Weekly POB needs to assure the proper craft mix is maintained to execute the work safely and efficiently.
7 Works in close coordination with the Company's Construction Leads and GIS General Superintendent to plan upcoming work activities by attending weekly/Daily meetings
8 Assigns work responsibilities to GIS Deck Foreman and support staff in accordance with the predetermined plan and meeting action items.
9 Assures that the Deck Foreman are properly filing for required the Company's daily work permits and turning in the proper permit closeout and JSA's at end of shift.
10 Assures that material and equipment needs are being properly planned and staged in advance of the work to assure an efficient work flow.
11 Conducts final walk down of work packs upon completion with GIS QC and line up the Company's walk downs for handover.
12 Assures all daily time charges are in accordance with the budget controls established and that all Deck Foreman are turning in daily time sheets in a timely manner.
13 Assists the General Superintendent in identifying and quantifying unplanned work by way of the PAR System
14 Responsible for providing the proper project reporting as follows:
• Provide Daily time sheets to the General Superintendent and Clerks;
• Provides daily work activity reports to the General Superintendent and Clerks for the Company's report out;
• Assists the General Superintendent with Weekly Progress Updates to the Company and GIS' home office;
• Weekly POB Input to the General Superintendent;
• Assures that ITR's are properly filled out and signed off to facilitate system handovers.
