Responsibilities

Entry Level job - Has responsibility for assisting with the development of reliability based Electronic & Sonde maintenance strategy, based on preventive and predictive maintenance for product line equipment. Works with Repair and Maintenance Technicians to schedule workload. Primarily activity is at workshop, troubleshooting, repairing, refurbishing, implementing mandatory modifications and executing and/or planning preventive and corrective maintenance of field equipment and tools, helping to mitigate assets related non-productive time and improve overall field service delivery performance. He/she may be required to attend a client location to perform his/her duties whenever an R&M task is deemed necessary to carry over a field.

Job Position is residential at Nazira-Assam.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (not listed in any particular order)

1.1 Completion of all related competencies, proficiency and training required to successful reach this level, as detailed on Wireline Career Progression document.

1.2 Learn to be proficient with Wireline documentation and other online training and support systems.
  • Quickly gain knowledge and understanding of Wireline operations policies & procedures, which may include Radiation, Ballistics, Pressure Control, and preventative maintenance.
  • Gain knowledge of most of Weatherford tools and equipment at the location, including associated hazards.

1.5 Lear to Perform on the scheduled preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment which may include tools and equipment from the technology groups of Open Hole and/or Cased Hole domains, in accordance with Weatheford's documented policies and procedures.

1.6 Perform troubleshooting under supervision on a wide range of electronic equipment including data acquisition systems and downhole tools to determine cause of failure and perform corrective maintenance in accordance with Weatherford's documented policies and procedures.

1.7 Perform modifications under supervision on a wide range of electronic equipment including data acquisition systems and downhole tools as per Operation Letters and in accordance with Weatherford's documented policies and procedures.

1.8 As applicable, gain knowledge to fully test and calibrate tools in accordance with Weatherford policy and procedures.

1.9 Complete Work Orders, Repair Requests, and update Databases as applicable.

1.10 Participate in Weatherford's Competency Assurance Program by attending formal Training Programs as provided by Weatherford as well as completing on the job training at location.

1.11 Identify Opportunities for Improvement in regards to equipment and procedures and document in WISE System.

1.12 Maintain equipment, facilities and work area in a presentable and working condition.

1.13 Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.

1.14 Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.

1.15 Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.

1.16 Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.



Qualifications

  • Criteria: Minimally 0-1+ years related experience
  • Diploma in Engineering (or equivalent) in Electronics as minimum.
  • Preferred Engineering College degree
