JOB Summary

Analyze and evaluate the performance of the organization according to the internal controls set and identifies compliance, risks, areas of improvement. Compiles all reports and data for internal controls compliance. Prepares internal statements for our quarterly and yearly reporting. Prepares account reconciliations for key accounts. Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information when necessary.

 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collect, examine, analyze, and verify information evidence of internal controls within the Canrig organization.
  • Works closely with Controller and Assistant Controller to ensure all internal controls are followed. Proactively addresses instances of internal control failures with team.
  • Compile and analyze information to submit to Internal and External Audit based on requests.
  • Summarizes financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements including ad hoc comparative financial reports.
  • Participates in the preparation of required shareholder and SEC reports.
  • Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.

6- 8 progressive accounting and/or financial analysis experience

COMPUTER SKILLS

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including advanced MS Excel.

Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance

CPA or CIA

Internal Audit / External Audit experience

Knowledge or Oracle and Hyperion
