About the opportunity:

Specific responsibilities are:
  • Production of study supporting technical and engineering reports.
  • Liaison with Site based stakeholders.
  • Production of forward programmes and work plans.
  • Production of a refined output study report.
  • Presentation of findings at Technical and Value Management Workshop.
  • Take schedule through S&TRB and PU Portfolio Board
  • Ensuring that the functional requirements of the study are met.


Qualifications:

Here's What You'll Need:
  • Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering (or relevant engineering discipline)/Ideally chartered or working towards chartership,
  • Proactive and driven approach to work, taking ownership of the tasks required to be completed under their remit,
  • Strategic thinker with ability to present own view and forward thinking on study,
  • Good communication skills and ability to liaise with study Stakeholders within SL,
  • Competent Report writing skills: clearly and concisely reporting findings.
  • Comfortable working under time and cost constraints,
  • Previous experience of carrying out studies advantageous but not essential.


Preferred - Currently holds P1/P4 pass and SC Clearance.

The position is subject to the ability of the candidate to obtain as a minimum baseline personnel security standard clearance and obtain a Sellafield P1 pass.
