ENGIE are recruiting for a Painter to be based at Sizewell B Power Station, IP16 4UR. This is a fixed-term (12 months), full-time position responsible for carrying out the preparation and coating of steel structures, pipework, concrete floors & walls and a variety of other industrial environments. On offer is a salary banding of £27,000 - £32,200, dependent upon skills and experience, and high-quality benefits package.

Working hours:
Monday to Thursday - 08:00 - 16:30
Friday - 08:00 - 14:00

Main Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with other painters and supervisors.
  • Work with hand tools and powered mechanical tools such as needle guns, bristle blasters, sanders etc.
  • Develop effective working relationships with appropriate parties.
  • Read and understand processes and safety procedures.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure tasks are handled accurately and in time therefore ensuring we deliver a high standard of work to the business and client.


Qualifications, Skills or Required Experience
Essential:
  • Relevant hands-on industrial painting experience
Desirable:
  • ICATS basic or equivalent
  • PASMA/IPAF Qualified
  • CTC clearance is highly desirable.
  • NACE coating inspection qualification
  • IRATA Roped Access
