Duties & Responsibilities

OceanSMART, an Oceaneering business unit, is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead revenue growth for OceanSMART products. www,

This is an individual contributor role, which is part of the global sales team reporting to the Director, Maritime Digital Products, Sales & Marketing IMDS. Initially the role will not have supervisory responsibilities, but will build a team as revenue grows

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling SaaS solutions to the Maritime or Bulk Cargo Logistics industries.

This position can be located in Stavanger, Norway or London, England.

To drive revenue growth and secure long-term revenue from all OceanSMART products through direct engagement with the market, from lead identification to contract signing and subsequent renewals.

This position can be located in Stavanger, Norway or London, England.

  • Execution of Go to Market strategies for all product lines
  • Develop and manage customer targeting and sales pipelines
  • Direct Sales and revenue generation across direct business streams
  • Understand customers' needs and feedback to Product Management
  • Contribute to the development of the value proposition for various sectors of cargo owners
  • Develop, retain and grow existing customer base.

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • This position has Leadership responsibilities in the future.

Reporting Relationship
  • Will report to Director, Maritime Digital Products, Sales & Marketing IMDS


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience
  • Extensive sales and marketing experience

  • Significant knowledge of the Maritime Supply Chain and maritime technology market
  • Belief in the goal, the ability to share this with others and to get them to believe too
  • Proven track record in winning significant sales opportunities
  • Experience at working at Executive Management and board level.
  • Strong global network at all levels across the Maritime industry
