When it comes to environmental consulting, we're focused on cleaning up our communities today to improve our tomorrow. We're looking for a Civil/Environmental Engineer to support innovative waste solutions projects.

Based in California, you'll develop solid waste management projects for municipal and industrial waste clients. Your responsibilities will include planning, permitting, design and engineering for projects related to landfill cell development, landfill gas systems, leachate management systems, mine waste remediation, and industrial facility cleanup. You'll grow your career as you connect with waste management clients throughout the western US and Canadian regional markets, updating them on work progress and technical aspects of the projects. You'll use your knowledge of civil engineering and solid waste management to apply the right tools and systems to organize and help deliver projects. Junior staff will look to you for mentorship, so be ready to share your knowledge!

Qualifications:

  • BS degree in an engineering discipline, preferably civil, geotechnical or environmental
  • Professional civil design related experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain within one year
  • Task management experience, including capability to manage tasks or small to average projects
  • Experience with site civil design and 3-D modeling, including roadways, grading, drainage, and related technologies

Ideally, You'll Also Have:
  • MS degree in an engineering or relevant discipline
  • Professional experience in the waste management industry
