Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently seeking a contractor to provide Principal Process Engineering services to a project at a client site based in Teesside. This will be for a period of 18 weeks and is to start as soon as possible.

Detailed services to be provided:
  • Carry out work in accordance with project guidelines and procedures
  • Provision of process engineering services to projects as assigned:
  • Process flow diagrams and P&ID's
  • Process engineering calculations and simulation
  • Design survey and assessments of existing process/equipment
  • Hazard Identification Studies (e.g. HAZOP, FMEA etc)
  • Collaborate with the multidiscipline design team , Client and Supply Chain to ensure project requirements are met
  • Ensure all technical documents and data are prepared and structured in accordance with relevant design codes, standards and legislation
  • Ensure the design satisfies all operational and safety requirements
  • Ensure, that all assigned work is carried out in compliance with agreed budget and schedule
  • Provide documentation and drawing deliverables on time to meet project deadlines
  • Contribute to construction risk assessments and construction method statement
  • Provide technical assistance, and to other disciplines as required


Skills / Qualifications

Essential:
  • Degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Experience in Oil & Gas Petrochemical Sectors
  • Operational experience

Desirable:
  • Chartered Engineer
  • Experience in brownfield projects
