At Eni, we are looking for a Measurement and Hydrocarbon Quality Specialist within Mizamtec in Sanchez Magallanes ORF. You will be responsible for the daily register of oil and gas volumes, produced and transferred gas, and verifying compliance with the regulation in the measurement of hydrocarbons issued by the CNH (National Hydrocarbons Commission) and ensuring the operation of the measurement systems.

About Mizamtec, service company that provides support to Eni Mexico.
We have been working in Mexico since 2006 and our wholly owned subsidiary, Eni Mexico S de RL de CV, was founded there in 2015. Eni Mexico is developing the Amoca, Mizton and Tecoalli discoveries in the shallow waters of the Gulf of Mexico. In 2015, we acquired Area 1, located 200 kilometres west of Ciudad del Carmen and at a depth of 33 metres, and in July 2019 we began production. An estimated 2.1 billion barrels of oil equivalent (boe) are in place (90% oil) in the Amoca, Mizton and Tecoalli fields.
Full field production will commence in early 2021 with the installation of a floating production, storage and offloading facility (FPSO). The Area will reach a daily plateau of 100,000 boe. We will also construct and install two additional platforms on the Amoca field and one on the Tecoalli field. As a member of the Operations department at Mizamtec, you will be responsible for :
  • Ensuring that they have the Delivery-Receptions receipts for sending them to the commercial area.
  • Responsible of the verification with the compliance in the implementation of the measurement mechanisms of the article 42 about the technical guidelines on the hydrocarbons measurement from the CNH, according to the Development plan of the contract area.
  • Verifying Compliance with SOX Controls in the Measurement of Hydrocarbons.
  • Verifying compliance with the calibration of the measurement systems programs
  • Verifying compliance with the predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance programs to the measurement systems
  • Reporting to the CNH the compliance with the LTMMH (Technical Guidelines in Hydrocarbons Measurement).
  • Performing training programs for the employees involved in the measurement systems.
  • Reporting the volumes of hydrocarbons produced and transferred.
  • Verifying the implementation of the best practices for the measurement of hydrocarbons.
  • Verifying that the measurement systems comply with the Development Plan and with the existing regulations
  • Verifying compliance with the hydrocarbons quality required in the buy-sale agreement.
  • Ensuring the correct function of the measurement systems
  • Achieve the implementation of the management of the measurements for the complying with the articles number 7 and 44 of the Technical Guidelines in the measurement of hydrocarbons.
  • Complying with the guidelines established by the organization according to SISOPA (manuals, procedures, plans and instructions) in order to manage the risks and environmental impacts existing in the activities.
  • Participation in the tests and support in the response of emergencies at the facilities

This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements :
  • Engineering degree (preferred)
  • Extensive experience of working in a similar position.
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Knowledge regarding the measurement applying different technologies as: Coriolis ultrasonic, orifice plate, and others.
  • Knowledge in static measurement, oil calculations and knowledge in the national and international regulation in hydrocarbons measurement.
  • Skills about risk management and aspects for the application of operational controls to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Job Certifications related to the measurement area.
