At Eni, we are looking for a Document Controller within Mizamtec in Mexico City. You will be responsible for managing all project data and documentation with the preparation of document control procedures and continues monitoring, both electronic and hard copy, in line with agreed procedures.

We have been working in Mexico since 2006 and our wholly owned subsidiary, Eni Mexico S de RL de CV, was founded there in 2015. Eni Mexico is developing the Amoca, Mizton and Tecoalli discoveries in the shallow waters of the Gulf of Mexico. In 2015, we acquired Area 1, located 200 kilometres west of Ciudad del Carmen and at a depth of 33 metres, and in July 2019 we began production. An estimated 2.1 billion barrels of oil equivalent (boe) are in place (90% oil) in the Amoca, Mizton and Tecoalli fields.
Full field production will commence in early 2021 with the installation of a floating production, storage and offloading facility (FPSO). The Area will reach a daily plateau of 100,000 boe. We will also construct and install two additional platforms on the Amoca field and one on the Tecoalli field. As a member of the Development department at Mizamtec , you will be responsible for :
  • Preparing the Project Data and Document Management procedure and identify relevant Company standards verifying their proper application.
  • To cooperate with the Project Team in preparing the Provisional List of Documents, and in defining their relevant planning and programming.
  • To Monitor data and technical documentation during the all lifecycle of the Project.
  • To ensure that all technical documentation produced on behalf of the Project is in accordance with the Project requirements.
  • Retrieving any significant reference documentation of similar existing Projects.
  • Maintaining updated the Project Document Register.
  • Issuing and diffuse monthly reports on Documents Production Status and latest revision of Document List.
  • Expediting consignment/return of documents and monitor their physical progress.
  • Managing documents distribution according to the Project Document Distribution Matrix.
  • Ensuring documents availability both in the Project Filing Cabinets (hard copy) and in the Company DMS (electronic file).
  • Preventing access to obsolete documentation.
  • Providing support for handover of final documentation.

This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements :
  • Experience in Project Document Control in a major oil and gas company or Engineering Company.
  • Extensive working experience in oil & gas industry, both offshore and onshore.
  • Extensive experience of working with contractors and supervising the contractors.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Project Planning, Close-Out Report Preparation, Project Management methodologies and techniques, Data Books, Tendering Processes.
  • Very good ability to work independently when required.
  • Good degree of computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access).
  • Ability to read, understand, interpret and write reports and documentation.
