As a Combustion Mechanical Design Engineer, you're responsible for contributing to design and development of products, solutions and systems. Your activities are linked to technical improvement of existing products, requiring developed knowledge of relevant technologies.

As a Combustion Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:
  • Conceiving ideas to solve mechanical problems on Combustion chambers and Fuel Nozzles for Gas Turbine
  • Leading component development from concept, requirements analysis, prototyping and design validation through lab testing and field hardware review
  • Developing solutions using CAD modeling and Drafting support, including 2D/3D parts modelling, interface and components design requirements
  • Conducting structural/thermal hand calculations to determine component stresses and life
  • Coordinating global engineering team and facilitate technical discussions within Engineering, Sourcing and the Supply Chain


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you should:
  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy or Aeronauticalfield with relevant experience in Engineering/Technology.
  • Have good experience in the development of complex mechanical systems, ideally in an industrial environment.
  • Be familiar with design and analysis tools and systems such as: NX (Unigraphics), AutoCad, or similar
  • Be expert in design using: NX (Unigraphics), CATIA, AutoCad, or similar
  • Deeply understand the technical documentation management process (e.g.Bill of Material) and Supply Chain Processes
  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, be fluent in English. Italian knowledge is considered as a plus.
