Job Title: Offshore Installation Technicians Location: Aberdeen - Offshore Rate/Salary: Negotiable Duration: 2-3 months Residency: UK
 
The Role:
Our client is seeking a number of Off-Shore certified Installation technicians to support their work in North Sea As an Offshore Installation Technician you will be required to have experience of:-
Controlled powered down of the SG (Safeguard) node
Tag all the cables with missing labels for easy identification
Disconnection of interconnection cable from System cabinet
Removal of SG controllers from the swing frame
Offshore Installation Technicians will be involved in Installation of Mounting plate on the swing frame
Installation of AC800M controllers/IO Components to the mounting plate Installation of servers & workstations on the server cabinet Power wiring to controllers/PSU's
Wiring of IO modules to the terminal block
Wiring of any Barriers/ Relays as per wiring schedule
Termination of serial cable
Earthing /Isolation checks
Installation of Network switches and cables
Power wiring for the network switches
Installation of FO Cables as per the network cable schedule
The Offshore Installation Technicians will assist in cold/ hot loop checking.
Tagging/Ferruling and cabinet tidy up As built mark-up

General Skills of the Offshore Installation Technicians:-
Point of Work Safety assessment Require basic familiarisation of identifying the SG & AC800 components ( this can be arranged via workshop session in April prior to on-site deployment)
Proven experience in wiring and fitting of DCS Panels and Cabinets To be able to use all hand tools & measuring equipment required to wire and fit from engineering drawings
CCNSG Safety Passport, Fit for training certificate, Offshore Medical Certificate, BOSIET, MIST & Shoulder Measurement certificate. The rota's will be undertaken in May & June 2021
