Baker Hughes is seeking a Lead Payroll and Benefits Delivery Specialist

Our Payroll Team provides support for the business for Payroll or Benefits process(s). The individual is responsible for each assigned local legislative rules and process. This role requires emphasis on data integrity and analysis to support key HR decisions while providing coverage and support as needed.

Partner with the best

You will be responsible for developing and leading a team of professionals and providing payroll and benefits administration support to the Baker Hughes businesses while focusing on enterprise standards, compliance and standardization. This role will also develop solid relationships with key stakeholders to maintain operational performance through leveraging metrics and trends and identifying areas for improvement.

As a Lead Payroll and Benefits Delivery Specialist, you will be responsible for:
  • Leading Payroll & Benefits processes, ensuring high standards of accuracy and quality are maintained based on compliance with relevant legal and Baker Hughes policy requirements
  • Adopting best-practice guidelines to influence and implement continuous improvements to processes and implementing process documentation.
  • Conducting reviews and reporting to identify and implement continuous improvement activities
  • Working closely with the HR Transformation teams. Lead and promote all activities aimed to achieve the best employee experience
  • Participating in the drafting of the functional specifications of payroll tools
  • Being the main point of contact for internal and external customers, also for suppliers of payroll tools.


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees. Excellent communication skills
  • Have previous experience in HR Operations, Payroll & Benefits, or Global Mobility Services preferred
  • Be able to demonstrate experience in a leadership or supervisory role with a similar fast paced environment
  • Be process-oriented and have critical thinking skills.
  • Have knowledge and solid understanding of national legislative payroll and benefits rules. Experience managing third party providers
  • Have working knowledge of service request management tools, MS Office, Workday and other Payroll tools
  • Be a good communicator and fluent in English
  • Have solid understanding of applicable regional legislative programs/processes
