Systems being utilized: A and E type systems - primarily hydraulic and electrical. must be able to read electrical/hydraulic diagrams.
As an OffshoreOperator/Mechanic at Ampelmann, you are responsible for operating the system to ensure people and/or cargo are transferred safely from a ship to an offshore structure, such as a drilling platformor a wind turbine.
As an Operator, you are in charge of the maintenance of the system and together with your Operator colleagues ensure the safe transfer of people and/or cargo.
Once you have followed Basic Operator Training, you learn the tricks of the trade on the job under the supervision of an experienced Operator. An average offshore shift consists of 4 weeks followed by a number of weeks off. You work for 12 hours per day.
