A privately owned and rapidly growing chemical business, is currently looking to identify a Site Asset Manager, for their COMAH regulated chemical manufacturing facility in Northamptonshire.
As a newly created position for the business, this is a position of significant responsibility, tasked in directly managing and implementing the CMMS and maintenance strategy for the site, leading mechanical engineering maintenance activities, through effective deployment of engineering teams and contractors.

As such, you will be an experienced engineer, with a depth of experience operating in a similar position in a maintenance environment, able provide a high level of CMMS and asset expertise, with management capability for the site equipment, services and reliability.

Ideally, you will have spent time in a chemical manufacturing environment, or similar high-hazard process industry, with a high level of analytical skills, with the ability to get to the heart of complex problems and make prompt decisions, to ensure smooth delivery of plans and projects.

About You
  • Proven experience of CMMS ownership and management, in a process manufacturing environment
  • Time-served engineering background, or relevant degree qualification
  • Effective analytical and reporting skills, for all aspects of PPM and asset services
  • Competent at prioritising and organising demanding workloads
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings as needed
