Join our Manufacturability & Risk Engineering Team inside Innovation Engineering!

Our Team leads all manufacturability and feasibility assessments on al main New Products Development inside Turbo Machinery Services. We are responsible for assuring Technology Injection on new and existing products, linking Supply Chain capabilities with Design Team requirements. As Lead Manufacturability Engineer you will assure Manufacturability of critical components in accordance with Program business plan and costs, quality, reliability, and performance Targets, covering a bridging role between Engineering and Supply Chain functions.

As a Lead Manufacturability Engineer you will be responsible for:
  • Translating product requirements into producibility features, leveraging new technologies and facilitating the assessment on materials for product/system/components
  • Assessing manufacturing capabilities orienting technical choices, taking advantage of Innovation labs and materials disciplines capabilities
  • Approving initial design or recommending modifications based on cost, knowledge of main conventional and unconventional mechanical technology processes and their related capabilities
  • Associating a certain manufacturing process sequence to a design solution and capability to quantify the associated cost
  • Leading execution operations on all Prototypes and Mockups needed for Product validation
  • Driving execution of all Cost Out Initiatives (from Manufacturability standpoint) impacting industrialization of all new products
  • Working in a matrix environment assuring link and communication among several functions (Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing)

  • Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited University in Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.
  • Have full professional proficiency inEnglish
  • Have Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Be able to work independently and have strong problem-solving skills
  • Have ability of e ffective problem identification and solution skills
  • Hold proven analytical and organizational c ompetencies
