This electrical engineer position entails:
§Being heavily involved with the design and advising of high voltage AC and DC projects.
§Being responsible for multiple processes such as conduct feasibility studies and develop scope, whilst aiding during the detailing and completion stages of projects.
§Producing technical documents and design specifications for electrical main equipment.
§Provide creative and effective solutions to customers.
A good electrical engineer must have the following:
§Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
§Minimum of 5-10 years' experience.
§A broad experience in electrical engineering with excellent technical abilities.
§Experience with large and mid-scale projects.
§Solid knowledge of original equipment manufacturers (OEM).
§Experience in dealing with Power factory, ETAP and SKM tools.
§Comprehensive understanding of the Grid code and Metering code.
§Solid knowledge of the design codes; NEN, IEC and IEEE.
§Understanding of wind farm projects.
§Experience in discussing technical updates with stakeholders.
§Experience in construction, commissioning and start up activities.
