ENGIE are recruiting for an enthusiastic, highly-motivated Learning and Development Consultant to join us supporting a major national contract. This is a home-based, fixed term contract position for a period of 12 months. The role is full-time working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
Supported by our Talent & Development department, you will work closely with our L&D and Operational teams, at all levels, to support the build and delivery of a new leadership and safety programme for a highly prestigious client where we are supporting the UKs critical national infrastructure.

As a passionate people developer you will play a key role in the build and delivery of an exciting and key intervention for operational leaders nationally. You will be working directly with senior SHEQ, L&D and Operational leaders to deliver a truly innovative learning experience for our people.

The planned L&D intervention is a pioneering approach to the application of blended learning channels on a digital platform to deliver behavioural change through remote delivery - a Social Learning Platform.

This is an ideal opportunity for a confident and experienced people professional, with a proven track record in the design and implementation of business outcome focussed learning solutions, to further enhance their digital L&D skills.

What is your day to day?
  • Implement our 'Leadership Passport' programme to create fresh capability across all ENGIE staff on the programme (100+ Learners)
  • Coordinate and apply ENGIE L&D standards, processes and policies
  • Coordinate and manage build of the programme within our digital framework (LMS/ CrossKnowledge)
  • Evaluate the progress of the Leadership Passport programme, for quality assurance and to acquire and to action feedback at Levels 1-3
  • Consult and facilitate discussions with key stakeholders on design and delivery of the programme
  • Coaching, where applicable, to support the successful implementation of the learning into the workplace.
  • Supporting, guiding and educating the wider L&D community by sharing your experience, knowledge and insight from your career to date

Who are you?
  • Educated to Degree level desirable
  • High levels of experience in Training Needs Analysis, Learning Design and Delivery - strong facilitation skills are essential
  • Demonstrable experience of creating and launching learning focussed projects
  • High level of leadership awareness in health and safety/SHEQ
  • Familiar with LMS functionality (learning management system)
  • Effective communicator and influencer at a senior level with excellent attention to detail and clarity of expression
  • Driven by continuous improvement and supporting other's development
