Our Hardware Design Team is responsible for the design of machinery protection and condition monitoring system cabinets for the most critical, and as well as essential, equipment of the oil and gas, power generation, and other major industries, to design system interconnections to field instrumentations and third-party systems, and to ensure compliance to customer requirements and technical regulations & standards (TRS).

A successful applicant would design protection and condition monitoring system cabinets employing the industry-leading Bently Nevada monitoring systems, while ensuring that designs meet customer needs and fulfill all technical regulations and standards requirements, using CAD software to create and revise project drawings, that includes (but not limited to) cabinet layouts and internal wiring, loop diagrams, etc.

As a Hardware Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:
  • Executing defect-free projects in a timely manner
  • Participating as a key member on various project teams
  • Reviewing design and sourcing estimates
  • Working with suppliers in parts selection, and putting up bill of materials for purchasing
  • Providing support to manufacturing-related technical queries
  • Managing occasional design changes
  • Supporting commercial and sales teams with project scope of system cabinets
  • Identifying process improvement opportunities to improve quality and cost.
  • Collaborating with other departments / companies in order to achieve Company goals, project objectives and to effectively provide solutions to problems
  • Applying and further developing the technical and engineering skills learned in school to solve specific design problems.


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have a Bachelor Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical or Electronics (Mechanical Engineers can be considered with relevant experience)
  • Have experience in using CAD systems (AutoCAD, E-plan, Microstation)
  • Have knowledge of relevant industry standards
  • Have experience in implementation of continuous improvement and quality, improvement efforts.
  • Have extensive measuring, testing, troubleshooting and error analyzing skills.
  • Be proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Have excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills and good communication level of spoken and written English.
