We currently have an opportunity for a Civil Solutions Apprentice. The successful individual will work towards achieving a Level 6 Apprenticeship qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering.
About the role:
We are seeking apprentices who are proactive, agile and creative engineering, data scientist, carbon management to join the UK's largest Transportation Civil design team, with opportunities UK wide including Glasgow, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds.
You will typically take a technical supporting role in delivering highway, rail and drainage civil design services throughout all stages of project development. The role will provide you every opportunity to complete your training towards membership of a professional institution. As well as our ICE accredited training programme to help you achieve professional status, you will be supported by a trained mentor.
We are particularly interested in any candidates who believe they can help us achieve carbon reduction and leaner designs for infrastructure, as alluded to in our Transportation Mission:

- Achieved a grade C/4 or above in at least 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Mathematics and English AND holds 3 A Levels (or equivalent) in any subject OR aLevel 3 qualification in Structural Engineering

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to produce well-presented and accurate drawings and reports.
- Interest in new, digital ways of working, technologies and automation
- Committed to work and capable of managing own tasks, costs and meeting deadlines.
- Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team.
- Good IT skills
