We are seeking a Public Relations Specialist to join Upstream Business Support Department that is directly reporting to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Upstream Business Line. Upstream Business Line is responsible for managing and developing all of the Company's oil and gas assets.
We are looking for a professional who is capable of delivering industry-leading communications plans resulting in targeted profile raising for its extensive upstream operations. Supporting the SVP, the successful candidate will be fully responsible for creating and delivering measurable communications plans to support the Business.
The successful candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in public relations, corporate communications or relevant field.
Minimum of 12 years' experience with a strong preference for 15 years' plus all-round communications, including 10 years senior level communication experience. Preferably in a large, multi-national, matrixed organization.
Background in agency or in-house communications setting, ideally in upstream energy/oil and gas sectors.
Strong writing ability, with excellent command of English (both oral and written).
Outstanding organizational and planning abilities with a solid understanding of project management principles.
Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Confident communicator and presenter to all levels, including senior management.
Able to develop technical and performance analysis reports and deliver high-level presentations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
You are expected to perform the following:
Create, develop and implement targeted and measurable communications strategies, including working in partnership with Upstream Admin Areas to coordinate and implement corporate communications plans.
Counsel, advise and Interact with Admin Area Heads and their staffs to evaluate, refine, and advance Upstream's communications plans and programs.
Advise on issue management, ensuring effective plans are prepared and risks minimized.
Manage internal communications in coordination with HR.
Research and create/write content for the Company's communications channels, including local and international media, social media and websites.
Work with Saudi Aramco's speechwriters to provide content as needed for senior executive speeches.
Provide support for upstream events.
Provide support for responding to high-level communications with government entities.
Ongoing liaison and support for Admin Areas across a range of areas as required.
