Journeyman Plumber - Remote Alaska

Plumbers needed across remote Alaska! If you're a trained plumber willing to travel the State of Alaska for work, this is just the role for you. We're currently accepting applications to help staff projects we're lining up across the State.

Job Summary & Requirements:
The Journeyman Plumber is responsible to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, install, remodel, or construct industrial plumbing systems, various piping systems, hydronic heating systems, various air handling systems, oil burning furnaces, envirovac toilet units, fire pumps, various pumps, and plumbing equipment and systems used in wastewater and water treatment plants. Plumber will need to be able to Layout/Takeoffs/install U/G & A/G piping.
Provide leadership and education in the zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
Ability to work remote villages as well as road system. Schedules will vary from full time to rotational depending on job location.
A valid Alaska driver's license and a driving record acceptable to the company's insurance carrier.

Education and Experience:
Completion of a formal training program relating to the plumbing industry.
1 year verifiable plumbing experience which demonstrates knowledge of water distribution systems, waste water systems, industrial high volume pumping equipment, gas distribution systems, pressure devices, gas and diesel fired heating systems and furnace appliances, appliances used in industrial kitchens, laundries, and boiler rooms, fire suppression systems, and the state plumbing codes.
Must be licensed to work as a journeyman plumber in the state of Alaska.
