ENGIE are recruiting for a Reporting & Forecasting Analyst to be based in Wath. This is a permanent full-time role working Monday to Friday. On offer is a competitive salary, and benefits package.
The key purpose of the Report & Forecasting Analyst is to be an effective part of the finance team by providing financial process controls; management information gathering, consolidation and reporting to support the P&C and sometimes other UK Divisions.
Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:
  • Produce meaningful and timely executive level analysis of monthly business performance. Capable of completing and circulating high quality deliverables independently with little supervision.
  • Facilitation of month end reporting of Flash results including coordinating with the various finance business partners across UK divisions.
  • Support the P&C Division's annual budgeting and forecasting processes across Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow forecasting. This includes collecting data and presenting it, developing meaningful analysis, supporting the review and challenge of forecasts.
  • Understand and challenge current business practice, identifying and implementing initiatives to improve processes and deliver efficiencies.
  • Other Ad-hoc activities including supporting new system implementations and other large projects.
  • Source data from multiple systems and data sources and run processes which have company-wide impact.


Complexity:
  • The appropriate candidate will need to have:
  • A self-starter capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • Good organisation, planning and presentation skills
  • Advanced technical and analytical abilities, able to link different data sets to make management information conclusions.
  • The skill set mix required includes FP&A, Business Partnering, Controlling and Transformation.

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:

  • AAT or Part Qualified
Experience
  • Ability to analyse complex data with accuracy
  • Good financial & commercial acumen
  • Good communicator with strong inter-personal skills and a positive attitude
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and customer service skills
  • Excellent planning & administration skills
  • Being open to innovation and new ways of working
Systems
  • Advanced user of MS Excel is essential.
  • A working knowledge of Word and Powerpoint, SAP & BPC, EVision, Tagetik, SSRS and Power BI would be an advantage.
