Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is looking to appoint a Business Development Manager as part of its Operations business supporting our energy clientele in the Asia Pacific (APAC) West region. This is a permanent role within the Growth & Development team based in Perth, Western Australia.

Reporting directly to the Vice President - Growth & Development (APAC), you will partner with Wood's leadership within our Operations business to drive an aligned and structured approach to business development across Operations, Maintenance, Asset Management, Modifications & Brownfield Engineering sectors. You will also engage and collaborate with Wood's Consulting and Projects businesses to deliver seamless lifecycle solutions.

Your focus will be to secure new contracts and projects aligned with Wood's ongoing growth and future expansion of the Operations business unit in the Asia Pacific Western Region. You will actively promote the Wood brand throughout WA and NT (Australia) with broader regional support as required.

In this highly visible role, you will be instrumental in building, maintaining and strengthening long established client relationships, in addition to introducing Wood to new clients, prospective partners and industry forums.

Skills / Qualifications

Suitably qualified, ideally you will be a Business Development professional currently in a similar role within the O&G Engineering / EPCM sector in Western Australia.

You are a relationship builder with proven experience securing a blend of Engineering, Operations, Maintenance & Asset Management business from term contracts to stand alone projects (reimbursable/ lump sum) ranging from $1M - $100M (AUD) in value.

With a career as diverse as it is deep, y ou will have an established and broad reaching network complemented by a range of relevant commercial experience across LNG and Major Projects . C ommercially astute and technology savvy, you will also h ave a passion for Energy Transition with the vision to navigate the energy models of the future coupled with the industry insight required to support our clients to be more efficient, sustainable and optimised to deliver the best energy mix in their respective markets.
