About the opportunity:

Reporting directly to the Framework Delivery Manger this site based position will develop and execute projects and task associated with the TDA Portfolio on the Sellafield Site in Cumbria.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Ability to write MEWP and Crane proposals from concept to approval.
- Experience in delivering a lifting plan to a Nuclear Industry Crane Committee
- Line Manager for the Supervisors and Operatives associated with the task.
- Execution of mechanical and lifting tasks in line with client requirements.
- Engagement with the client to develop and define the scope via constructability reviews
- Be visible in the workplace and lead by example demonstrating the standards set by the business.
- Support the preparation of estimates and budgets.
- Ensure that everyone within the delivery team is capable and competent to undertake the assigned task.
- Offer guidance to allocated staff and direct assistance where necessary.
- Plan work activities and resources to meet task requirements safely and effectively.
- Challenge all unacceptable behaviours and ensure the team act in a professional manner.


- Experience of working within Nuclear establishments & following Nuclear Professionalism Standards & Expectations
- Lifting experience within the Nuclear industry
- In depth knowledge of the legislative, regulatory, quality and environmental requirements relating to nuclear engineering projects.
- Will be required to pass a Medical to prove fitness to work in a Radiological environment.
- Working experience in writing and delivering crane proposals on the Sellafield Site.
- Requirement to work in radiological environment, wearing relevant PPE.
- IOSH Managing Safely qualified.
- SC or DV Cleared.
- Site based on the Sellafield site.
- Strong knowledge of the Sellafield working procedures and processes.
- Experience in working within the Active Area on the Sellafield site.
- NEC3 delivery experience.
- Understanding of the CDM Regulations 2015.

- Project Engineering qualification.
- Held a SQEP position within the Sellafield Construction, engineering department.
- Experience in working within restricted buildings on the Sellafield site.
- Knowledge and Experience with Management of Contractors in a Nuclear Environment.
- Knowledge and Experience with managing Supervision and Craft within a Nuclear Environment.
- MEWP Management qualification.
- Holding an Appointed Person position within the Nuclear Industry.
