The Industrial Growth Platform Manager is accountable to define the strategy for the Industrial Platform for the Turbomachinery & Process Solutions business. You'll lead segment long term profitable growth by setting strategic priorities and capital allocation process. You'll also define and execute New Product Development (NPD) commercialization plan, leading origination of business development opportunities.

As an Industrial Growth Platform Manager, you will be responsible for:

 

  • Leading growth of the Industrial Platform of the business, delivering the Long Range Plan (LRP) by liaising with Strategic Marketing, Pricing, Product Leadership and Engineering organizations.
  • Owning deep understanding of Industrial Market dynamics and positioning. Identifying strategic priorities by Industrial application and accordingly developing strategic plan.
  • Setting targets for cost, technology and operational features by Industrial segment applications. Defining successful positioning and developing wing to wing differentiated value proposition for Products / Solutions.
  • Identifying strategic initiatives and relevant growth / profitability impact in order to match business financial targets.
  • Supporting capital allocation process for NPD by developing business cases based on program costs and time.
  • Establishing relationships with relevant EPCs and key third parties, liaising with Regions, Commercial and Business Units. Defining and developing dedicated NPD commercialization plan, from product/solution business cases development to commercialization roadmap, including launch planning and Beta customers engagement.

To be successful in this role you will:

 

 

  • Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (Mechanical or Electrical engineering degree strongly preferred).
  • Show experience in understanding customer dynamics and decision process in the industrial sector, system and solution approach vs equipment provider. Show knowledge of how digital technologies can create value to our portfolio while crossing customer needs.
  • Show good analytical skills and proven capabilities to develop Business Cases - preferred MBA from accredited school.
  • Have proven experience in Strategy, Product Leadership, Commercial, Engineering, Project Manager within Industrial sector.
  • Have good background in Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines technologies and in Industrial Power Generation applications.
  • Have good verbal and written skills. Be fluent in English - Italian or another language would be an advantage
