Procurement Engagement and Communications Senior Analyst

Job purpose

The Engagement and Communications Senior Analyst role is responsible to implement and execute global engagement and communication plans to internal bp users and external suppliers across bp's businesses. This role will support the global myProcurement management to define and maintain the engagement strategy in marketing myProcurement service offerings and building positive brand perception of doing business with bp.

If you join our team, you will:
  • Improve engagement with all bp suppliers and drive positive brand perception
  • Define global communication and engagement strategies to improve user and supplier experience, with the goal of empowering them to be autonomous in navigating through the procurement process
  • Implement communication and engagement programs, supporting Procurement teams to cascade messages to the intended target audience
  • Craft compelling content from concept to completion and work closely with user and supplier experience teams to develop and implement communication materials, assets and videos, and other key communications priorities
  • Drive communications related to any updates, for example system and process changes that are applicable to users and suppliers
  • Monitor and interact with numerous social media pages to maintain engagement
  • Conduct research to identify new and exciting ways to engage suppliers via a variety of channels to drive awareness, conversation and affinity to bp
  • Project management of all engagement initiatives
  • Continually learn, test, measure & optimise performance on all communication channels and social media activities including monthly reporting and recommendations
  • Cooperate with respective system deployment teams to maximise their communications strategies and, where possible assist in content creation
  • Seek feedback that can be used for process improvement

  • Encourage suppliers to be more proactive in their engagement with bp

We have the following requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Business or other related field
  • 4 to 6 year's marketing/social media marketing/customer engagement or other relevant experience related to communication
  • Excellent command of English, written and spoken
  • Experience in crafting engagement and communications strategy and plans
  • Proven track record of creating communication/engagement campaigns with internal/external partners via variety of communications and social media channels
  • Strategic and analytical thinking with an innovative spirit
  • Great multi-tasker and strong attention to detail
  • The ability to engage with people at all levels
  • Strong work ethic and passion for delivering excellence
  • A creative problem solver who likes to push for something 'different'
  • Highly developed organisational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills

The following could be a plus:
  • Procurement experience
  • Experience in marketing automation and analytics
  • Certified in a CI (continuous improvement)
  • Experience leading high complexity projects
