ENGIE are recruiting for an Account Manager to be based on the Southern Water Contract in the South. This is a permanent, full time role, working 37.5 hours a week. On offer is a competitive salary and company benefits package.
The Account Manager will be responsible for and managing 140 key locations as part of an estate with a total of circa 4000 locations in the south east of England on a multi-million-pound contract. The estate is a combination of office and industrial, occupied and non-occupied areas and examples. You will lead a team of people who will deliver first class customer service solutions and transition the service from the existing to the Engie managed solution with a key focus on compliance and health and safety.
The contract includes hard and soft FM service provision provided by a combination of directly employed and sub contracted labour and includes but is not limited to help desk, projects, security, catering, cleaning, grounds maintenance and mechanical and electrical, 24/7 reactive response and Planned Preventative Maintenance.
What is your Day to Day:
  • To build and maintain a good relationship with the customer and their staff, to provide regular feedback on the FM performance, discuss quotations, issues, client updates, oversee quote requests and develop good working relationships with the service delivery teams, as well as the customer and inter customer divisions.
  • Manage the account finance team, ensuring all business and commercial aspects are managed professionally.
  • Lead the customer account development, responsible for organisational design, strategy setting, customer relationship building, business development and project management.
  • To lead, direct and motivate the Engie team to enable contribution to the best of their ability and maximise their potential
  • Ensuring financial and operational compliance
  • Develop a business plan for the customer account that delivers sustainable profitable growth based on a full understanding of the Integrated FM and Technical services markets.
  • Co-ordinates all Operational Team Leaders to deliver operational effectiveness
  • Responsibility for the Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality performance of the contract and working closely with the Engie SHEQ and Regional Technical teams.

About you:
  • Previous experience at a similar level, regulated business or similar
  • Appropriate Technical Knowledge and understanding
  • Health and Safety Legislation (IOSH Managing Safely) and Company procedures
  • Facilities Management multi-site, hard and soft FM itinerant role
  • Company Quality Procedures
  • Sub contactor management
  • Company Environmental Management plan and local Procedures
  • Engie Quality and Environmental Management Systems
  • IT business support systems including SAP, Engie Direct and Planon CAFM system
