ENGIE are looking for an Operations Manager to join our team in Manchester supporting a £6 million contract with our strategic partner, Manchester City Council. This is a permanent role working Monday to Friday 9:00 - 17:00. If you are self motivated and enthusiastic - then this could be the role for you!!

What is your day to day?
  • Deal with various challenges, including but not limited to PPM, RW, Projects, Minor Works and Statutory compliance.
  • Deal with any technical issues that arise as part of those works and resolve any associated budgetary or commercial challenges.
  • Escalate any decisions requiring financial approval over their LOA (as per ENGIE DLAs), or where a commercial consideration is needed and to understand both the contract and its associated specifications to work closely with the Planning Manager & Technical Service Manager to ensure delivery to customer expectations.

Who are you?
  • Experience of working in a delivery building services maintenance
  • H&S qualifications to IOSH Certificate level
  • An understanding of maintenance practices such as SFG20
  • To effectively manage a team of Supervisors/engineers carrying out all aspects of planned & reactive work in accordance with strict KPIs/SLAs and in a safe working environment.
  • Carry out sub-contractor audits and awareness (MSV) & performance reviews
What's in it for you?
On offer is a salary banding of £45,000 and £49,000, dependent upon skills and experience along with a company vehicle.
