Role Synopsis
Digital Foundations Programmes leads the delivery of modern, secure, and compliant digital foundations to transform Digital Enterprise & Operations' core business, extend customer access, drive adjacencies in new digital business and deploy integrated capability in service of bp's net zero and safety ambitions
The Delivery Orchestration Lead provides the sole capability of leading and orchestrating the end-to-end execution of activities for the purposes of delivering an outcome of a product(s), processes, and/or service(s).
How we deliver is centred around deploying an agile operating model, inclusive innovation, whilst creating and fostering a community of "doers". We utilise our agility operating model to deliver, consisting of cross-discipline teams, utilizing people capabilities that can be dynamically deployed to teams and projects based on the demand across our platform teams
Delivery Orchestration roles pair deep digital and agile expertise with coordination and integration activities that span across programme and project management
Key Accountabilities
  • Team: Developing the capability of your teams to deliver the most agile solutions is one of your top priorities.   • Relationships: Develop and maintain a series of internal and external stakeholder relationships and support project delivery. The role requires ability to influence and inspire change in a positive and impactful way
  • Project Management: Embody the role of Protector (project manager) and Connector (programme manager) to identify communication needs and facilitate open communication and discussion between partners, acting as a single point of contact by developing, maintaining and working on business engagement strategies and plans. Monitor benefits and improvements against the business case, ensuring that all participants are informed and involved throughout and prepared to exploit the new operational business environment once it is in place. Monitor progress against agreed quality and performance criteria and develop opportunities for improvement, including monitoring and resolving supplier performance issues
  • Digital: Build awareness of internal and external digital developments, managing the delivery of process and system improvements, identifying and implementing continuous improvement plans for and ensuring best practice is shared
  • Safety and Compliance: Advocate and help ensure our architectures, designs and processes enhance a culture of operational safety and improve our digital security
Educatiom: Educated to a degree-level and/or have equivalent relevant work experience
  • PMP-certified, with relevant experience working in waterfall and agile projects and/or programmes
Desirable Experience and Capabilities : 15 years, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
