Located in region: North America


• Work within the relatively small Projects Safety Systems team that is tasked with building out and redeveloping as necessary the safety management systems required for the Enbridge Projects organization (which designs and executes construction and maintenance projects of all sized on behalf of the liquids and gas pipelines, gas storage and utility, and green power generation business units in North America and Europe).

• Analyze and adapt or create fresh solutions (typically standards, processes, procedures, templates, forms, training or communication campaigns, etc.) in order to carry on the work of consolidating multiple legacy Projects systems and ways of doing things into a singular, fit for purpose, set of safety systems and practices for various types of projects (e.g., joint venture, major projects, mid-size and program level projects).

• Take responsibility for projects assigned to them as a member of the Projects Safety Systems team, which would include providing leadership and facilitation with multiple Safety, Projects, or other business unit stakeholders (such projects would typically address specific risks, resolve issues arising, or facilitate the ongoing development of new safety resources, tools, or systems).

• Assist the Projects Safety group in developing and tracking annual business objectives and goals as well as safety performance goals.

• Create or assist in the creation of communication packages for senior leaders in Safety and Safety & Reliability, Projects, Enbridge Business Units, and Executive leadership, that require a knowledge of Projects Safety initiatives, issues, and safety performance analytics as well as strong communication skills.

• Primarily work in an office environment but must be willing to travel as necessary to project sites for safety support, investigation, or professional development purposes.
