You will typically be in shared service; may support multiple businesses, but not necessary. Subject matter experts will generally fall into this category. Typically HQ Jobs and NOT on site. For client facing roles, use Operational EHS family. Understands concepts, methods, procedures and approaches.

Contribute to the Health and Safety of Operations

As Health, Safety and Environmental Technician; you will provide solutions and help to develop your team and continuous improvement of our HSE.

As a HSE Technician, you will be responsible for:
  • Identifying and act on the legal requirements of Workplace Safety and Environment applicable to the company.
  • Standardizing HSE and administrative control procedures through documents, as well as standardizing in the operational areas, control through task risk analysis;
  • Monitoring Workplace Safety and Environment indicators such as accidents, incidents, inspections, training, meetings, use of PPE, among others that are relevant to the area.
  • Conducting inspections in the workplace, identifying dangerous conditions, surveying, investigating and analyzing accidents and reporting to the leaders (management and supervision), through a daily report, issues related to HSE;
  • Working in accordance with the company's policies and procedures related to Health, Safety and Environment, ensuring that they are practiced by employees, suppliers and third parties, reporting any non-compliance, accident, incident or potential risk situations and interrupting any unsafe or unsafe situations.


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have a Bachelor's degree (Technician Degree) in a related field and have solid experience in Environmental Health & Safety
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently
  • Be of an analytical mindset with a proven ability to resolve problems and identify solutions
  • Be a good team player and display good communication skills with fluency in verbal and written English (desirable)
