ENGIE are recruiting for an Internal Auditor to be based in Manchester, Leeds or Birmingham. This is a 12 month fixed-term role which involves working full-time role hours. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
General Overview
The position within the Quality Team will report to the Acting Head of Quality to support on the delivery of the internal audit strategy and lead on key quality objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the internal audit schedule for the process-based audits across the UK business unit
Monitor and manage overdue internal audit schedules, audits and improvement actions, ensuring data is analysed and available for reporting
Be accountable for the timely delivery of all process-based internal audit data and metrics reporting including trending /and performance analysis
Lead on the formal closure of all non-conformances raised as a result of process-based internal audits working with internal stakeholders
Assist the Quality Assurance Manager with ongoing improvements to internal audit and non-conformances systems in supporting the requirements to ISO 9001
Assist the Quality Assurance Manager with external certification audits presenting details of the process-based audit schedule and any key findings/trends
Support the Quality Assurance Manager on the development and implementation of the mobile audit App
Support the Acting Head of Quality with key initiatives and projects where appropriate
Be a key contributor on any new initiatives/projects
Undertake occasional travel within the UK as required once permitted.

Qualifications and Other Requirements
Experience of working to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
Lead Auditor ISO 9001 and preferably Lead Auditor in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods
Sound interpersonal and leadership skills to deal with various stakeholders
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Experience of working in a SHEQ environment
