Job Description

Responsible for performing specialized duties in support of department operations, including problem solving, negotiation of late fees, and Bills Late Arriving

Function

 

  • Contact with vendors as a result of Bills Late Arriving edits for all vendors.
  • Create a manual bill from vendor information provided.
  • Organize, prioritize, and use time management tools to ensure proper follow-up is completed.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with appropriate vendor contacts.
  • Answer incoming calls from vendors.
  • Accurately maintain alpha numeric filing system.
  • Maintain Metrics given by supervisor.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Requires a high school diploma or GED.
  • Requires two years of clerical and/or customer related work experience.
  • Other combinations of experience/education may be considered.
  • Must have solid computer skills, including familiarity with Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet.
  • 10 key by touch, preferred.
  • Strong skills in customer service, communication, problem solving and negotiation.
  • Must be a team player who is detail oriented, dependable and adaptable.
  • Must be flexible with schedule and available for overtime work as needed.
