Main Duties & Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate HSE Leadership and contribute to company Safety Performance and Culture
  • Management and administration of the Mechanical and Maintenance team
  • Accountable for discipline deliverables required in the maintenance plan
  • Assumes responsibility for maintenance project planning execution (cost, schedule, material quantity and budget control for discipline items)
  • Verifies contractors work quality regarding specifications, reports, code application, submittal review, equipment selection, deliverables, and drawings
  • Carry out technical bid evaluations to ensure vendor compliance with material requisitions
  • Provide technical assistance in monitoring/optimizing equipment performance, in resolving rotating equipment operation and maintenance problems; contact internal and external experts as required
  • Deliver technical expertise and support to production operations
  • Initiation of modification projects and give technical expertise to modifications (follow up & close out)
  • Responsible for the Spare Part Program
  • Owner of technical documentation and requirements within discipline
  • Monitor and support company representatives within discipline for selected service contracts
  • Competence development and performance management
  • Give economic input to yearly maintenance budget process within discipline - and follow up
  • Input to resource requirements
  • Drives continuous improvement
  • Ensures effective management of change
  • Contributes to the IVB process


Internal & External Stakeholder Interfaces
  • There is a requirement to work cross functionally and interface within the company


Required Competences / Qualifications / Experience / Profile
  • Relevant Bsc higher degree. Relevant work experience may compensate for limited formal education
  • Typically a minimum of 5-10 years experience from a relevant field / discipline, with progressive leadership experience
  • Must have thorough knowledge (incl. maintenance standards) of rotating equipment ranging from turbines, engines, pumps, compressors and equipment packages
  • Requires deep knowledge of the specialist area, the E&P business and Oil & Gas industry
  • Demonstrable interpersonal skills (both in motivating employees and influencing stakeholders)
  • Excellent communication skills both written and spoken in Dutch and English
  • Offshore travels must be expected
