Primary Purpose of Job
To detail out, supervise and to carry out all activities assigned to Valve section for a particular job ensuring high standards of workshop practice and safety procedures. To carry out all activities assigned to Valve section such as major overhauling, servicing, testing and repairing, routine maintenance, breakdowns, shutdowns or emergency situation as detailed by his Supervisor. Ensures that all activities under his responsibility are carried out in an efficient manner with optimum safety and availability to achieve production targets.

Completed Secondary Technical Education with further Operational/Technical Training and have a sound knowledge of English.

Experience & Skills
At least 7 years experience within oil and gas/petrochemical industries in mechanical and machine workshops activities. Some experience of minor supervisory duties and on-the-job training. Should have thorough knowledge about the different types of valves like SRV, BV, Gate Valves, Control Valves and their uses. Should have good knowledge of other mechanical equipment wherever these valves are being used.
